Learning Styles
As individuals we all posses different learning styles. A learning style is a method in which individuals take in and process information. Basically there are four learning styles namely visual, aural, read/write and kinesthetic learning style.Every individual does not learn in the same way. Knowing our different learning style can be really highly effective in planning the teaching and learning process.
These are the four elements of the VARK model. However in a classroom there can be students who belong to different modalities of learning styles. Thus a teacher has a challenging task of planning and implementing learning activities which suit all these learners.

How VACK model can be integrated with technology to help learners
- Visual Learning Style- Develop small videos related to the subject, showing YouTube videos on the lesson
- Auditory Learning Style- Allowing students to listen to audio clips related to a subject,Provide classroom recordings, help them to find podcasts
- Reading/Writing Learning Style- Asking students to maintain a daily journal on the computer,use apps like “Kindle”
- Kinesthetic Learning Style- Arrange small games on-line, provide tablet- based activities, provide them with virtual environment
