In this session I learnt about how significant is inquiry method as an approach in learning and teaching. This method improves abilities of a student in investigating, questioning and critical thinking skills.
Moreover, as a teacher, this is an interesting way of getting student engagement in the lesson. I remember, during my school days we had teachers during lecture methods in schools. Now as an adult, I realise by incorporating lessons with inquiry based learning method, lessons can be conducted in a highly efficient manner.
In this digital era, world needs people who can take up new employments in the 21st century world, thus inquiry based teaching and learning process is highly effective for both teachers and students. At the same time, the striking feature in this method is, it creates authentic learning experience by allowing students to engage in real- life scenarios.
